Argentina became the champion of “Art-Football 2025”

The 10th anniversary football and music festival "Art-Football 2025" has ended. It took place in Moscow from June 7 to 15. On the final day, the Russian artists’ team ("Starko") played Peru in the consolation match, losing 4-3 and ultimately finishing 10th out of 16 teams. The main organizer of the tournament, leader of the band “Zodchie”, Yuri Davydov, remarked: “We don’t need to become world champions every year. After all, that would be indecent.” This year, the first place went to the Argentine artists’ team (who also took "gold" in the nomination for "best band" in the concert program), Hungary claimed silver in football, and Serbia took the bronze.

⚽ Evening Concerts and Awards

In addition to football battles, every evening, as is tradition, concert programs were held at the Izmailovo Concert Hall. These were also judged by an international jury. After solo performances by Valery Syutkin, and then the "world team" (each country presenting their best musical numbers), the evening host and sports commentator Viktor Gusev announced the results to a packed house (even the aisles between seats were full). Russia shone on stage, winning in the "best song" category and taking silver for "best singer."

Musical Achievements by Country

Peru took bronze in the "best DJ" nomination and silver for "best original performance."

The team from Turkey came second in the "best DJ" category and first for "best concert program."

Serbia, beyond third place in football, won "gold" as "best DJ."

South Korea didn’t leave empty-handed in music: bronze for "original performance" (including Viktor Tsoi's "Gruppa Krovi" sung in Russian) and third place for "best concert program."

Georgia’s team took home prizes for first place in "best original program" and third in "best singer."

Azerbaijan won bronze for "best instrumental composition."

Kazakhstan took second place for "best instrumental composition," with Paraguay taking gold in the same category.

The Republic of Belarus took third place in "best band," and Japan took silver in this category, plus another silver medal for "best program".

Hungary also earned awards for their concert program. Hungary's headliner was “Kalay Saunders Band”, captivating the audience with real rock’n’roll energy and taking bronze for "best song."

Iran took "silver" for a song performance.

Kyrgyzstan became the absolute champion in music, receiving both the Grand Prix and "gold" in "best singer." Kyrgyz singer Daniyar Dolotbakov performed "Russkoe Pole" at the final concert, once again winning the hearts of the audience.

The evening concluded with a choir performance of the Soviet hit "Podmoskovnye Vechera". The artist-footballers were given song sheets, and together with the audience, they sang along.

A Festival Connecting People

The evening ended well past midnight. The next morning, Yuri Davydov received a touching message from a participant of the “Inter” team, Israeli graphic designer Adi Koren, who has attended “Art-Football” for many years:

“There are moments in life," he wrote, "when words seem too small compared to the magnitude of generosity, love, and vision you bring to this world. The "Art-Football" festival is much more than just an event. It’s a dream you have made come true. It’s a bridge between cultures, hearts, between art and football, and above all - between people. And all of this is possible thanks to you, to your big heart, indomitable spirit, and faith that the path of love, creativity, and football is the way to unite nations, souls, and create a better future. I am grateful to you for the opportunity, the hugs, for the path you are paving for us all. May it continue for many years in the name of culture, brotherhood, and faith in good."

Yuri Davydov assured that next year, the international football and music festival “Art-Football” will definitely take place again, and even more teams will participate than this year.

The 10th World Football Championship among Artists — International Football and Music Festival "Art-Football 2025" will be held in Moscow from June 7 to 15, 2025.
