Denis Matsuev to choose World Cup 2018 logo 28.03.2014 00:00

Denis Matsuev, famous musician and player of the Russia national artistic team, has been included in a jury which will evaluate the World Cup 2018 logo.

According to Alexei Sorokin, general director of the Russia-2018 organizing committee, the logo presentation will take place in September, 2014.

“The work is under way now, - says Sorokin. – First we chose 10 versions but now only 3 have been left. The jury consist of 10 persons with Matsuev, Mutko, Russia sports minister, Capello, Russia’s national team head coach, Akinfeev, Russia’s national team goalkeeper and other famous sportsmen, actors and public figures to choose the best logo”.
