The Israel Art football team continues to prepare for the World Cup to be held in the summer in Moscow and in addition to serious and challenging training, the preparations for the musical concert are in full swing.
There is great excitement in Israel ahead of the World Cup. Coach Oved Kraus has brought together a team of of no less than 50 (!) players from which only the best will be chosen for the event. Many artists with a serious background in soccer have agreed to take part in the new team, becoming a significant professional reinforcement, as the goal is clear: to be world champions.
The professional staff includes a wide range of professionals-no less than 5 of them: Oved Kraus - head coach, his assistants - former players David Oliel, Ami Tayar and Meir Deri, as well as fitness trainer and owner of the VIEW gym Rafi Molcho.
The team has had 5 preparation matches so far-winning four of them (6:0 against the Writers Team, 3:0 against the veterans of Maccabi Haifa, 6:1 against the Forum Team, and 4:1 against the Veterans of Petah Tikva) and have drawn once (0:0 against the veterans of Hapoel Haifa). According to various professional estimates, the current Israeli teamis the best team of artists to date, but coach Kraus is not blinded by that fact: "Ultimately, the results are what matter and we must continue to work hard and improve so as not to fail with the 'little' things."
The Facebook page of the Israeli football team (Art-Football Israel), managed by Moti Dichne, has been liked by 2200 individuals and the number of training video and photo views has crossed the 15,000 mark.
Israel will soon begin selling tour packages for fans who will accompany the team in its trip to Russia this summer.
