Israel qualify for the final four

Israel bit Belorus (5:0) in the second group match to become the first team to qualify for the final four at the Vth Artists’ World Championship.
Israeli players did not wait long as it was the case in the match against Turkey when no goals were scored until the break and put four goals to Belorus in the first half.
Abbas Swan’s goal was the most spectacular. Former national team midfielder shot from 35 metres putting the ball in the left upper corner.
Oved Kraus, Israel chief coach, let the reserve footballers to play in the second half so only one more goal was scored.
In group D Japan can bang the door if they beat Israel in the last match taking in account that world vice-champions will not spend forces for nothing on the eve of decisive matches.
In group D Kazakhstan seized two goal opportunities after bad mistakes of Korean defence. But it was Karim Karimov, Kazakhstan goalkeeper, the man of the match who did not let Koreans to score from the 11-metre spot a few minutes before the break.
In the other group D match Kirghizistan, world cup newcomer, drew once again, this time against Germany – 1:1.
The last matches in groups B and D will be played on Thursday.
