Russia and Romania bit the underdogs Estonia (9:0) and Slovakia (3:0) respectively in the last group matches and qualified for the semi-finals of the Vth Artists’ World Championship.
After the goalless first half Russia scored 9 goals (3 by Pavel Ivanov) and took the first place in group C thanks to… Italy that bit Slovenia (1:0) and the best goal difference.
In group A the Netherlands were too strong for the Great Britain who did not recover from 2-goals deficit. At 1:2 the Dutch goalkeeper made a crucial save when Farell missed a penalty shot.
Romania had no problems against Slovakia and took the first place in the group with 7 points.
