The leaders of the Association “Art-football”, headed by President Yuri N Davydov, took place in September 2017. Yury Davydov: “Our goal is to make ‘Art-football’ the largest cultural festival in the world!”
1. The main theme of the summit was the World Football Championship among artists, which is scheduled to be held from May 25 to June 3, 2018 in Moscow. Yury Davydov drew the attention of the vice-presidents of the Association to the necessity of observing the rules of participation in the festival by all teams. The leadership of Art-Football will conduct a separate work with the leaders of national artistic teams, aimed at observing sports principles and ensuring security. In this connection a three-stage selection system, which includes checking for compliance of team members with the declared role and sports skills, will be provided for the teams.
2. As you know, this summer, the FIFA World Cup will be held in Russia. According to the Association, the number of cultural events that precede the “mundial” is small, so one of the directions for the development of “Art-Football”, personally led by Yuri Davydov, is the establishment of partnerships with the Russian Football Union and FIFA.
Among the partners proposals is the closing ceremony of the championship in artistic football in conjunction with the Opening of the 2018 World Cup. Within the framework of this ceremony, it is planned to hold the final match of “Art Football” on Red Square in Moscow and organize an open-air gala concert. Among the guests of honor and participants are representatives of FIFA and RFU.
3. The well-known Serbian filmmaker Emir Kusturica received an offer to become the leading guest-celebrity of the “Art-Football 2018” in the framework of another initiative of the president of the Association — the nomination “Personality of the Year”: each new festival will be invited a new star, for example, footballer Pele or singer Julio Iglesias. Concert program, accordingly, will be attached to the honored guest — this will make it more dynamic and subordinate to a certain scenario.
4. More new genres of music and art at the festival. Yuri Davydov especially noted that compliance with modern trends in the development of culture is very important for the success of “Art Football”. Heads of the Association signed a memorandum “Under the flag of kindness”, confirming the intention of all participating teams of “Art-Football” to take an active part in the charity programs of the Natalia Davydova Foundation and help children.
